Simple But Powerful Instructions

Eph 5:14-17/ISV
v 14 for the light is making everything visible. That is why it says, “Wake up, sleeper! Arise from the dead, and the Messiah will shine on you.’’
v 15 So, then, be careful how you live. Do not be unwise but wise,
v 16 making the best use of your time because the times are evil.
v 17 Therefore, do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.

Eph 5:20-21/ISV
v 20 you will consistently give thanks to God the Father for everything in the name of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah;
v 21 and you will submit to one another out of reverence for the Messiah.

If you want the Lord Jesus to shine on you then you need to:

  • wake up sleeper
  • arise from the dead (inactivity)
  • be careful how you live
  • do not be unwise
  • be wise
  • make the best use of your time
  • do not be foolish
  • understand what the Lord’s will is
  • consistently give thanks to God the Father for everything in name of Jesus

The indifferent need to rouse themsleves from inactivity before it leads to ruin or nonexistence
